About This Activity
Learn pinch, slab, and coil methods of hand building with clay to create fun decorative and functional pieces. Students will learn to work with both air-dry clay and ceramic clay, and will explore a new theme each month. Take one class, or all of them! Each block is 4 weeks long, please see dates and themes below. Dates will go as follows: September: Autumn Theme Sept. 9 - Sept. 30 October: Wizarding Theme Oct. 7 - Nov. 4 (No class Oct. 14, Fall Break) November: Christmas Theme November 11 - Dec. 9 (No class Nov 25, Thanksgiving Break) January: Magic of Disney Theme Jan 6. - Jan. 27 February: Animals Theme Feb. 3 - Feb. 24 March: Ocean Theme Mar. 3 - Mar. 24 April: Plants & Flowers Theme March 31st - April 28th (No class April 7th, Spring Break)
