About This Activity
No experience necessary. Kids learn the basics of the ukulele through fun, silly, and crazy camp songs from the included book, Two Chord Camp Songs for Kids (book included). Youth will learn the four most common ukulele chords through songs that use the chord pairs F & C7 as well as C & G7. In addition to a fun variety of strum patterns to accompany these songs, kids will learn to read music from the treble clef, play a C-scale, and tune their ukulele. Parents of younger children are welcome to attend free. IMPORTANT: Please plan to bring a tuned-up ukulele and tuner to these classes.
