About This Activity
Lyrical combines elements of ballet and jazz to create expressive movement that emphasizes musicality, technique, and storytelling. Dancers will focus on fluid movement, flexibility, balance, and emotional performance while continuing to strengthen their technical skills. ATTIRE: Students should come dressed in modest, comfortable clothing that allows them to move freely. Dancewear is welcome but not required. Please avoid jeans or restrictive clothing. Hair should be pulled back away from the face, and dancers may wear jazz shoes, or clean athletic shoes depending on the activities in class.
