Adventure awaits at YMCA Camp Nissokone!
Set on more than 170 acres of forests, trails, and a beautiful lakefront, Camp Nissokone gives day campers the chance to explore the outdoors, try new activities, build confidence, and make new friends.Campers are placed in age-based Trail Groups and spend each day traveling throughout camp with their counselors to enjoy a variety of fun, age-appropriate activities and classic camp experiences.
Day Camp includes:
- A full day of age-appropriate camp activities and adventures
- An age-based Trail Group with dedicated counselors
- Lunch and an afternoon snack each day
- Five days of outdoor fun, friendship, and exploration
Registration Details
- Deposit: $50 per camper, per week — non-refundable
- Sibling Discount: Save 5% on each additional child
- Multi-Activity Discount: Save 5% on each additional activity
Cancellation requests should be emailed to camp@ymcadetroit.org. Your deposit is non-refundable. For cancellations made April 1, 2027 or later, an additional $50 cancellation fee per camper, per week applies. Cancellations received less than 7 days before the start of your session are not eligible for a refund or credit. Fees are refundable only in the case of illness or injury with a written note from a physician to YMCA Camping Services. In the case of homesickness, dismissal, voluntary withdrawal, late arrivals, or early departures, there will be no refund of fees. Camp registration is not complete until you have completed your online camper forms. Epact will send you an email to complete your profile - it is due one week prior to the start of the camp week.
