Description
Pilates exercises increase core strength and balance and are perfect for all ages and fitness levels. Joseph Pilates developed a mind-body movement system that emphasizes core strength, breathing, and spinal alignment through controlled exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and body awareness for everyday health. Pilates with deep style relaxation includes a guided visualization while lying down, which enhances calmness by relaxing the mind and entire body. Please bring a mat and hand weights to class and wear loose, comfortable clothing. Optional: A child-size ball or soccer ball. The class opens at 6:00 p.m. and starts promptly at 6:15 p.m. The instructor will stay 15 minutes after class to answer any questions.
