Description
Pilates exercises increase core strength and balance and are perfect for all ages and fitness levels. Joseph Pilates developed a mind-body movement system that emphasizes core strength, breathing, and spinal alignment through controlled exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and body awareness for everyday health. This class focuses on traditional Pilates exercises, rehabilitative exercises, stretching, and weights. Your mind will feel relaxed, and your body will be rejuvenated. Please bring a mat and hand weights to class and wear loose, comfortable clothing. Optional: A child-size ball or soccer ball. The class opens at 6:00 p.m. and starts promptly at 6:15 p.m. The instructor will stay 15 minutes after class to answer any questions.
