Description
The GPH Summer Volleyball League is designed to help players learn the game, build confidence, and enjoy a fun team experience. The season runs 8 weeks and includes an end of the season Single Elimination Volleyball Tournament for both age divisions: 7–10yrs and 11–14yrs.
New for This 2026 Summer Season:
• Mandatory Coaches Meeting Friday June 5th @5:00-5:45pm in the Field House. Please plan to attend if you intend to volunteer coach.
•8 player max per Team
• To ensure fair and balanced teams, no player, coach, or carpool requests will be honored. The only exception applies to volunteer coaches, who may be placed with their own child.
New: Practice Days and Game Days
•Ages 7–10: Mondays 6-7 or 7-8 or 8-9pm Practice times •Ages 11–14: Tuesdays 6-7 or 7-8 or 8-9pm Practices times•Ages 7–10: Wednesday 6-7 or 7-8 or 8-9pm Games times•Ages 11–14: Thursday 6-7 or 7-8 or 8-9pm Games times
Game Day: All games are played on Wednesdays for (Ages 7-10yrs) and Thursdays for (11-14yrs). A match will consist of the best 2 out of 3 games with an 45min overall time limit. All games are rally-point system.
What Players Receive: •Volleyball T-shirt •End-of-season medal •A team-centered environment focused on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Cost: Members $125, Non-Members $185
Volunteer Coaches Needed: Volunteer coaches are essential to running a strong program. If you or someone you know is interested in coaching, please contact Jon Gutierrez (Sports Director) at jgutierrez@suncoastymca.org
Coaches Meeting: A mandatory coaches meeting will be scheduled before the season begins. Date June 5th, 2026
