About This Activity
Description
This program combines safety awareness education with self-defense instruction. Emphasis is placed on the learning of physical and verbal skills for self-defense. Students learn break-aways & defense techniques for close contact (being grabbed). Weekly safety awareness information addresses the lures strangers use to attract and abduct children and teens.
Student progress in rank and earn their belts. We welcome students from any style.

Please note that refunds will no longer be processed three days before the second class date.
What to expect when participating in City of Palmdale activities:
- Rain or inclement weather may result in class cancellation
- First day of class participants may wear free moving, comfortable clothing and shoes.
- Bring your own water bottle
- Do not share exercise equipment between participants.
