Choir is AV Children's Choir's intermediate ensemble designed for singers who are ready to further develop their vocal technique, musicianship, and performance skills. Singers in Choir begin working with more advanced harmonies, musical interpretation, sight-reading, and ensemble blend while continuing to build confidence and discipline through performance opportunities and adjudicated competitions. This group encourages growth, teamwork, artistry, and a deeper understanding of choral music in a positive and challenging environment.Please Note: An audition and placement approval are required prior to registration. Families should not register through the City of Palmdale Parks and Recreation website until they have received an official placement and acceptance email from AVCC.Auditions will take place on August 4th at Legacy Commons, located at 930 East Avenue Q-9.
Material fee may apply (paid directly to AVCC). Uniform purchase (required, prices varies). Choir camp and competition (optional)
There will be no class on September 22nd.
