About This Activity
Description
For beginning violin, viola, cello, and bass players who have 1-2 years of playing experience. This is an introductory-level program to the art of orchestral playing which centers on grade 1-2 repertoire. Musicians learn skills like following a conductor and playing together in a group.
An audition is required. For audition information go to www.WestCoastClassical.org. All repertoire materials are provided.
Please note that as of September 17, 2026 refunds will no longer be processed.
Parents/Guardians of minor children registered into Playhouse programs may wait on-site in a designated area. Designated areas include bench seating in the courtyard and outside classrooms.
Guests/Family members and program participants should not wander through the Playhouse. Offices, concessions, shop, and other secured areas are for Playhouse staff members only.
