About This Activity
Students in grades 9–12 will volunteer as part of our Summer Volunteer Program, supporting elementary students at Silver Spur, Cornerstone Elementary, Miraleste Intermediate and Palos Verdes Intermediate Schools. Volunteers assist in classrooms, help supervise recess and lunch, and gain hands-on experience working with younger students while building leadership and communication skills. The program fee covers two volunteer t-shirts, training, a name badge, and service hour tracking, with a certificate provided upon completion. Availability: Volunteers must commit to at least one full week, with the option to select additional weeks. Weekly shifts include morning (8:00 AM–12:00 PM), afternoon (11:00 AM–3:00 PM), or full day (8:00 AM–3:00 PM). By selecting a week, you are confirming that you are available for the entire week. If selected for the program, your schedule will be based on the weeks and shifts you choose. Please review your availability carefully before submitting your application.
