About This Activity
Description
Imagination is our only limit in this ceramics hand building camp. In this fun introduction to the possibilities of clay, campers learn a variety of techniques as we explore color, shape, and texture to create a pinch pot, coil build, and slab build. There will be an additional $30 supply fee given to the instructor at the start of camp.Level of Instruction: Beginner
Skills Learned: Pinch, coil, slab, scoring & slipping, glazing techniques.
Students should bring a nut-free snack and water bottle each day.
If your child is enrolled for both a morning activity (9:00am-12:00pm) and an afternoon activity (1:00pm-4:00pm) during the same week they are eligible to stay for Lunch Bunch (free supervised lunch hour from 12:00pm-1:00pm).
