About This Activity
Description
This activity is closed to further registration.
Along with a parent/guardian, BOOM Basketball teaches children basic basketball skills and social development to create a love of basketball and sports. One to two coaches will lead participants in fun games and activities with and without the basketball, that will have participants running, jumping and dribbling.
Level of Instruction: Beginner ages 18 months to 3 years with 100% adult participation.
Skills/Fundamentals Learned: BOOM Basketball helps develop your child physically, mentally and socially for the world around them. Classes focus on:
- Listening
- Balancing
- Running
- Jumping
- Coordination
- Socialization
Contractor/Instructor: This class is taught by the BOOM Sports founders, Guy and Traci Mitchell. The BOOM Sports Mission is to help children develop their full potential as both athletes and individuals. By using creative physical games to promote self-confidence and socialization skills, BOOM Sports offers an environment where every child excels no matter their skill level.
