About This Activity
Description
Nothing But Net (NBN) Basketball Shooting Academies are focused on the development of ball handling skills specific to shooting. NBN’s elite coaching staff created drills that will take each athlete’s shooting abilities to the next level. Fundamentals and techniques focus on good shooting form using the BEEF acronym: Balance. Eyes. Elbow. Follow-Through. This provides consistent coaching, repetition of skills and additional practice throughout the year. When regularly applied, participants are not only able to utilize these techniques in actual game settings, but the player’s improvement is proven to build confidence on and off the court. Our ultimate goal is the refinement of shooting technique while encouraging the athletes’ desire to play.Level of Instruction: Middle School players - Advanced players have been playing longer than a few years and hope to play competitive level basketball. They must be able to crossover, dribble between the legs and dribble behind the back. Players must work hard and be coachable.

- Refine how to shoot off crossovers, going between the legs and behind the back.
