About This Activity
Description
Campers will learn the art of making two-dimensional designs into three-dimensional forms with a professional art instructor from Art Students League of Denver. Campers will create letters by learning elements and principles of design, measuring methods, sketching designs, creating small armatures, and finally creating their very own 3D letter art using a variety of materials. There will be an additional $30 supply fee given to the instructor at the start of camp.Level of Instruction: Beginner
Skills Learned: Measuring, cutting, and attaching cardboard pieces to create the letter; creativity for decoration.
Students should bring a nut-free snack and water bottle each day.
If your child is enrolled for both a morning activity (9:00am-12:00pm) and an afternoon activity (1:00pm-4:00pm) during the same week they are eligible to stay for Lunch Bunch (free supervised lunch hour from 12:00pm-1:00pm).
