About This Activity
Description
Look out Betty Crocker! Join us for a fun-filled cooking class where this new generation of chefs will help prepare nutritious dishes. Children learn kitchen basics and safety while enjoying delicious (and nutritious) treats. Kids will also have the chance to practice their manners while having fun! Each class will feature instructions to create one new dish.Level of Instruction: Beginner - Children participate in this class without a parent.
Skills/ Fundamentals Learned: Chefs will acquire skills in:
- Measuring (math skills)
- Kneading (fine motor skills)
- Mixing (science skills)
- Following directions
- Kitchen safety
- Manners
Equipment Needed: Come dressed to make a mess, or bring an apron. Please bring a water bottle.
