About This Activity
Description
Dancers will have a great time moving to various dance styles such as jazz, funk, hip hop, and breaking, while learning key elements of making a good dance video and putting their skills to the test by creating their own dance video. At the end of camp, dancers will have a video link to share with family and friends. There will be an additional $20 supply fee given to the instructor at the start of camp.Level of Instruction: Beginner/Intermediate
Skills Learned: creative movement, ballet, jazz, hip hop, body awareness, musicality, and group skills.
Supplies Needed: Water bottle. No snacks. Clothing that can be moved in, ballet shoes or bare feet. Simple costumes may be worn, please no masks, hats, or wigs.
Students should bring a nut-free snack and water bottle each day.
If your child is enrolled for both a morning activity (9:00am-12:00pm) and an afternoon activity (1:00pm-4:00pm) during the same week they are eligible to stay for Lunch Bunch (free supervised lunch hour from 12:00pm-1:00pm).
