About This Activity
Description
Create a puppet show with Parker Theater Academy! Campers will learn how to make a puppet, bring it to life with voice and movement, adapt a story to a script, make scenery and props and perform a live puppet show. Guests are invited to see completed puppet shows on the last day of camp. There will be an additional $10 supply fee given to the instructor at the start of camp.Level of Instruction: Beginner / Intermediate
Skills Learned: Self-confidence, performance skills, script writing, directing, improvisation and friendships.
Supplies Needed: Comfortable clothing, closed toe shoes, notebook, pencil, water bottle and healthy nut-free snacks.
Students should bring a nut-free snack and water bottle each day.
If your child is enrolled for both a morning activity (9:00am-12:00pm) and an afternoon activity (1:00pm-4:00pm) during the same week they are eligible to stay for Lunch Bunch (free supervised lunch hour from 12:00pm-1:00pm).
