About This Activity
Description
Level 2 Tap is designed for young dancers who are ready to build on their foundational tap skills and take their technique to the next level. In this class, students will learn more advanced tap steps, rhythms, and combinations, challenging their coordination, rhythm, and footwork. The instructor will introduce exciting new tap patterns that push dancers to improve their speed, control, and musicality, all while keeping the class fun and engaging. This class is perfect for dancers who have mastered the basics and are eager to expand their technical abilities, confidence, and tap vocabulary. A $40 costume rental fee is required to participate in the end of semester performance and is paid to The Dance Connection the first week of class. Rented costumes must be returned after the performance to avoid additional fees. Students interested in expanding their abilities and talents are encouraged to simultaneously enroll in other dance classes.Level of Instruction: Intermediate

Equipment Needed: Black tap shoes and proper dance attire are required.
