Level Classical Ballet is for advanced dancers who are ready to perfect their classical ballet technique while deepening their understanding of ballet's rich history and repertoire. At this level, dancers are expected to demonstrate a strong technical foundation, executing movements with precision, elegance, and control. The class emphasizes the refinement of placement, alignment, and body control, encouraging dancers to elevate their technical execution and artistry. In this class, students will work through advanced barre exercises, center work, and complex across-the-floor combinations that focus on posture, turnout, line, and strength. The goal is to build endurance, flexibility, and fluidity while mastering the fundamental elements of classical ballet. Dancers will also have the opportunity to explore classical variations from renowned ballets, while working on technique, expression, and musicality. Dancers may take this class in slippers or pointe shoes depending upon their experience.A $40 costume rental fee is required to participate in the end of semester performance and is paid to The Dance Connection the first week of class.
