About This Activity
Description
The American Safety and Health Institute CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid combination training program helps students develop the knowledge, skills and the confidence to respond to a medical emergency. Students will participate in a two-and-a-half-hour online course prior to a two-hour skills session with a certified instructor.
Level of Instruction: Community members.
Skills/Fundamentals Learned: Participants who successfully complete the Community CPR/AED and First Aid course receive an ASHI two-year certificate in the following:
- CPR/AED for adults, children and infants
- First Aid for adults, children and infants

Instructor: Class is taught by an American Safety and Health Institute Certified CPR/AED and First Aid Instructor.
Registration Instructions: This class is a blended learning format with a combination of online and classroom skills. You will receive an email from HSI about 7 days prior to the class with your individual link for the online portion of the class. Class Requirements: Participants must have completed their online portion before attending in person. Proof of completion is required. Equipment: All equipment is provided.
