About This Activity
Description
All Parker Recreation leagues are designed to be safe, educational and to create a place for athletes to have fun while building important social skills such as self-confidence, sportsmanship and teamwork. The first half of each daily session is designed as a practice with skills and mini games. The second half will be a scrimmage against other participants. All registration is taken on a first come, first serve basis. Recreational activities focus on basic skill development and game knowledge and are designed for players of varying skill levels. Children will be broken up into groups according to age, skill, and size of class for the day. Your child will learn and participate in a different sport each week of the of the 4 weeks of the program. The sports typically played include Soccer, Basketball, Flag Football, Teeball or Kickball.
