About This Activity
Description
Make beats, tracks, songs, and grooves while learning the science behind it with the Sound Formation Method™. Campers will explore a variety of sounds, rhythms, and musical equipment and come away with amazing creations! All professional grade production gear is provided: Ableton, MacBook Air computers, Novation midi keyboards, VSTs, Maschine+, Arturia Minibrute 2, Scarlett interface, monitors, and headphones.Level of Instruction: Beginner – Intermediate
Skills Learned: DAW skills on Ableton, music theory, hands on experiences with professional gear, pieces. improved understanding of the compositional process, etc.
Students should bring a nut-free snack and water bottle each day.
If your child is enrolled for both a morning activity (9:00am-12:00pm) and an afternoon activity (1:00pm-4:00pm) during the same week they are eligible to stay for Lunch Bunch (free supervised lunch hour from 12:00pm-1:00pm).
