Campers will use the uniquely patented SkateStart skateboard (provided for use at the camp*) to learn how to push and roll successfully with proper technique and foot placement. Once you have completed the Level 1 class and leave with your certificate of awesomeness, you'll be ready for a more advanced SkateCamp and more fun!
Level of Instruction: This single-day camp is for beginners or those who have never tried skateboarding and want to get rolling.

- Skate park safety and etiquette

- Turning
Instructor: SkateStart's instructors bring over 25 years of experience teaching skateboarding. They have taught Tony Hawks's son Riley, instructed at the X Games and have a proven track record focusing on safety and success.

Equipment: Please bring a helmet, athletic shoes (no open toed), water and snack. Pads are encouraged. SkateStart Skateboards are available for use at the clinic.
*The high-quality, patented SkateStart skateboard is available for purchase. Email Patrick at skatestart34@gmail.com one week prior to camp to reserve yours. Cost for complete skateboard is $110 (normally $120).
Meet at the pavilion about 15 minutes before class begins.
Skip Dates: N/A - A make-up date will be provided if inclement weather becomes an issue.
