About This Activity
Description
Calling all gamers! Have a blast creating robotic games each week while learning about robotics. Campers will learn about gear ratio, sensors, programming, and pulleys as they create fun to play games. Whether creating a robotic hockey player, pinball machine, or a ring toss, your child is sure to have fun building, learning, and playing.Level of Instruction: Beginner/Intermediate
Skills Learned: Simple and complex machines, robotics, engineering concepts, gears, axles, motors, sensors, teamwork skills, and programming.
Students should bring a nut-free snack and water bottle each day.
If your child is enrolled for both a morning activity (9:00am-12:00pm) and an afternoon activity (1:00pm-4:00pm) during the same week they are eligible to stay for Lunch Bunch (free supervised lunch hour from 12:00pm-1:00pm).
