Description
Does your builder enjoy designing beautiful buildings or functional spaces for their mini figures? If so, this camp is the perfect space for your young architect to sharpen their design and building skills! All buildings, from the Empire State Building to the house next door, started as an idea. Campers will learn how to take an idea and turn it into a building in the real world by being guided through the building process, from creating a floor plan to disaster-proofing the structure, so that they will be able to create the next best thing in LEGO® architecture!Level of Instruction: Beginner/ Intermediate
Skills Learned: Problem-solving, architecture and engineering concepts, presentation, teamwork/partner skills, planning and conceptual design, environmentally conscious design.
Students should bring a nut-free snack and water bottle each day.
If your child is enrolled for both a morning activity (9:00am-12:00pm) and an afternoon activity (1:00pm-4:00pm) during the same week they are eligible to stay for Lunch Bunch (free supervised lunch hour from 12:00pm-1:00pm).
