Description
Have you ever wanted to develop your own video game? Then 2D Arcade Game Design using FlowLab Game Creator is the camp for you! This is where 2D game creation becomes real. Learn how to make arcade-style games of your own creation similar to Mario Bros., Space Invaders, Frogger, and much more. Learn logical skills used in the tech industry including variables, controls, and functions. Campers will impress their friends and families when they share the fun, interactive games they created! Chromebooks will be provided by Silicon STEM Academy.Level of Instruction: Beginner - Intermediate
Skills Learned: Wire frame programming; logic; sequencing; creativity.
Supplies Needed: Water bottle.
Students should bring a nut-free snack and water bottle each day.
If your child is enrolled for both a morning activity (9:00am-12:00pm) and an afternoon activity (1:00pm-4:00pm) during the same week they are eligible to stay for Lunch Bunch (free supervised lunch hour from 12:00pm-1:00pm).
