About This Activity
Description
Dive into the world of professional acting and improvisation techniques for film and stage. Campers will learn complex character development, taking on both monologues and scene work, improvisation for rehearsal techniques, and building audition material for real auditions. Campers will perform a showcase in front of a live audience on the last day of camp.Level of Instruction: Intermediate / Advanced
Skills Learned: Self-confidence, performance and audition skills, film techniques, improvisation, and friendships.
Supplies Needed: Water bottle and healthy nut-free snacks.
Students should bring a nut-free snack and water bottle each day.
If your child is enrolled for both a morning activity (9:00am-12:00pm) and an afternoon activity (1:00pm-4:00pm) during the same week they are eligible to stay for Lunch Bunch (free supervised lunch hour from 12:00pm-1:00pm).
