🎮 Afternoon Camp: Game Design — Parkland at P-REC This afternoon, they don't just play games. They build them. From a first animated story to launching a full Roblox world — this is where young game designers are born. Every camper leaves Friday with a real, finished game they built themselves and the confidence that comes with it. Built for your child's age and skill level: ⭐ Ages 5–6 — Game Design with ScratchJr Perfect for K–1 learners, campers use ScratchJr to create their own animated characters, interactive stories, and mini-games — no reading required. They'll develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills while doing something that feels purely like play. The perfect first step into the world of coding. 🎮 Ages 7–12 — Roblox Game Design Campers go all in — learning real coding concepts to build unique Roblox experiences with challenging obstacles, custom mechanics, and entire worlds they design from scratch. The week wraps with a live showcase where classmates play each other's games. Seeing other kids enjoy something you built? That's the moment they get hooked on creating.
