About This Activity
FIRST LEGO League is a Lego Robotics experience that involves competing in the following areas. • Robot Game: Participants will design a Lego robot and program their robot to complete missions. • Robot Design: Participants will be scored on efficiency, program code, and components. • Core Values: Participants will need to work as a team and show problem solving skills. • Project: Participants will solve a specified world problem with an innovative solution. Every year, FIRST® LEGO® League releases a new Challenge based on a real-world, scientific theme. As participants progress into Explore, children will take their background knowledge of STEM and put it into practice as they work in teams to design and build robots using the LEGO® Education SPIKE Essential. This year's theme is Submerged. Dive below the surface. Students will use creative thinking and LEGO® technology to explore the layers of the ocean and innovate for a better future with healthy oceans. ONE TIME REGISTRATION & MATERIALS FEES $135
