About This Activity

Description

Dive into a week of fun, skill-building. and competition at the Rose Bowl Diving Day Camp! This action-packed, one-week camp offers 8 hours of mixed diving, dryland and class work per day; uniquely focusing on improving fundamentals, skills and dives with purpose and confidence. Whether you have a few months in the sport, or years of experience, our coaching staff, lead by Head Coach Jean Luc Miralda, will guide you through speicialized drill work and dive cateogry work eah day designed to help your diver grow in knowledge and skill. Some aspects your diver can expect:

  • Techincal skill development: sharpering of form and diving technique.
  • Video Analysis & Review Sessions: While on deck, divers will have the opportunity to view live video replays. Additionally, divers will engage daily on a 30 minute dive review session - where campers along side our coaching staff will view and discuss proper technique.
  • Emotional & Competitive Intelligence: Divers will learn how to manage pressure, stay focus, and dive with confidence. Daily, divers will engage in 30 minute sessions to help discuss meet and new dive preparation, dive meet skills, and focus sessions.
  • Friendship & Teamwork: This camp goes beyond your everyday practice. Divers will build unique frenships that will span wider than our day camp. By working together to achieve their weekly goals, divers will grow and build a community for years to come.
This camp will culminate with attendance of all campers to a USA Diving-Santioned meet held on Saturday and Sunday at Laguna Niguel. Campers will get to showcase new skills and dives and compete along side fellow campers. This will help them build confidence, make memories, and test out new skills.
