About This Activity
Description
Girls and boys join us for a week of exciting explorations in aerodynamics. Launch a solar balloon and your own water rocket--the launcher of which you will build and keep! Create a siphon that will seemingly magically move water from one cup to another. Use air pressure to lift a burning candle, create a tornado tube, levitate a table tennis ball on a column of air, and much more. You’ll be learning right alongside of kids from public, private, and home schools. You’ll go home every day with artifacts you made, and with which you’ll be able to teach friends and family about the science concepts you’ve learned. This will be a week in which you’ll make some new friends and gain valuable knowledge that you will never forget. Everything including the supplies you'll use and keep are covered in your registration fee. $10 sibling discount. Full and partial scholarships available. Learn more and apply HERE. We will be using p.v.c. glue that can stain clothing. Please dress accordingly. Questions? Contact Tim Baker at (559) 779-4821 or email info@scidip.net.
Please wear clothes that allow you to move freely and that you're OK getting dirty. Children will be using PVC glue, which can be very messy.
