About This Activity
Description
We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Friday, April 25, 2025.
Join science educator Mr. Tim Baker to explore the fundamentals of electricity and its counterpart: magnetism. You'll be able to convert electricity to heat, motion, light and magnetic force. You'll make (and keep!) a foam-cutter, motor, Play-Doh circuit, an electromagnet and more. Go home each day with real scientific materials and teach your family and friends about the electromagnetic concepts you've learned.
Nutritious snacks always provided. Make friends with kids from public, private and home school programs. We'll work together to explore science and make positive memories and have a blast! Your teacher will be Mr. Baker, active science educator and founder of Science-Dipity.
Your registration fee includes all of the supplies that you will use during the camp (and many that you will keep)!
Sibling Discount: $20.00
Pre-requisites: We will darken the classroom periodically. Students must be comfortable in the dark.
Questions? Contact Tim Baker at (559) 779-4821 or info@scidip.net
