Foundations & Forts is a hands-on construction experience where kids become real builders for the day. In partnership with Nordaas American Homes, campers collaborate to design and construct a creek bridge with local contractor Tony Bluth, while also building imaginative outdoor forts using natural materials: learning measuring, teamwork, structural stability, and tool safety along the way. Before the day ends, each child assembles and personalizes their own take-home birdhouse, applying the same foundational principles of balance and durability. Using kid-safe tools and real materials, this camp blends engineering with creativity, giving kids the confidence that comes from building something strong, useful, and lasting with their own two hands.
