About This Activity
Description
This summer, CCT will be putting on The Music Man Jr. with our youth taking a leadership role in developing the show through workshops and mentorship. We are excited to provide our youth hands on learning opportunities to grow, both on stage and behind the scenes! In this workshop, students will work with mentors to learn theater skills while also performing in a full Junior production. All who register are guaranteed a part in the production; those who wish to act on stage will have that opportunity, and those who would like to take on roles behind the scenes – including running lights, sounds, and stage management – will have the opportunity as well. Workshops will take place Fridays in June and July, and rehearsals will be scheduled based on participant schedules. Open to ages 7-18. Auditions for roles will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 16, and 10-11 a.m. Saturday, May 17. Those who do not audition will be cast in ensemble roles.
