Who would not love exploring art across multiple media, while also learning some history?! Campers will have time to experiment mixing different materials to create both conceptual and abstract projects. From paint to popsicles sticks, everyone will use found objects and traditional art supplies, exploring the pros and cons of each. Together they will also learn about some artists throughout history and their styles of mixed media. Each day campers will take home a new piece. Asya is the Special Program Coordinator and ASEP Art Coordinator at Lombard, who studied illustration and mixed media at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Outside of that degree, Asya minored in American Sign Language and enjoys learning new things. Please note: Campers must wear comfortable clothing that may get dirty.
