Phoenix Plays is excited to be partnering with the Phoenix Suns Jr. Suns Youth Basketball Program to offer you the best youth basketball league possible. The league will run for 8 weeks with one 45-50 minute practice a week and one game on Saturdays. All practices and games will take place at Cesar Chavez Community Center. As part of the Phoenix Plays Jr. Suns league, you child will receive an official Jr. Suns game jersey, a Jr. Suns swag item, one game voucher good for a Suns or Mercury home game at Footprint Center of their choosing, and possible additional promotional opportunities.
Participants will be assigned to a team. Practices days and times are determined by volunteer coach's availability however you can let us know what days work best in your schedule when you register. Parents or guardians can expect a call from facility staff by Saturday, January 11, 2025 for team assignment and practice schedule.
All practices and games will be held at Cesar Chavez Community Center. Games begin on Saturday, January 25, 2025 through March 22, 2025. There will be no games on February 22nd.
Although we do our best to accommodate most special requests, we cannot guarantee your requests will be met.
Coaching is a great way to give back to our leagues and your community. Coaches will receive a Jr. Suns clipboard, coaching handbook, coach shirt, and one game voucher good for a regular season Mercury/Suns home game at Footprint Center of his/her choosing, and possible additional promotional opportunities. Please indicate any special requests when prompted. This can include specific practice days, a certain coach and/or teammates, etc. Special requests are NOT guaranteed.
NO GAMES ON FEBRUARY 22ND
Gametime will be either 12:00pm or 1:00pm. Game Schedule will be available during the first week of practices.
