Description
Family + Math Storytime
Who is it for?Children ages 3 to 5 years and their favorite grownups.
What will you do?Each week you and your child will explore a new math concept through stories, songs, rhymes, and hands-on activities.
What will you learn? Children learn about shapes, counting, patterns, and measurements in a fun, interactive setting. Adults learn how to support their child's early math skills at home.
Registration is required and by the registering you agree to attend all 6 weeks.
This session meets on the following dates: Thursdays @ 10AM on October 8,15,22,29, November 5,12
Space is limited. You must have a child between the ages of 3 to 5 years to participate (older or younger siblings welcome).
Support for early literacy programs is provided by a grant from First Things First, which partners with families and communities to give all Arizona children the opportunity yo arrive at kindergarten healthy and ready to succeed. Additional support for this program is provided by the Dollar General Literacy Foundation and Arizona PBS.
