Description
Registering for this DOES NOT guarantee a spot in Pecos Community Center's Teen Leadership Program. This is for staff to utilize to send out Teen Leadership Applications and to schedule interviews. Applications will be available for pick-up/sent out starting Wednesday, April 1. Applications are due by Friday, May 1. Interviews will be held May 11, May 12, and May 14.
Pecos Community Center staff will notify you and your teen if s/he has been accepted into the program by Friday, May 15th via email. There will be a mandatory orientation on Wednesday, May 20th at 5:30 pm. After orientation, parents and teens may decide if s/he would like to join the program. There will be a $25.00 fee.
If your teen(s) is selected, please see the description below:Teens will work with ages 6-10 with their group leads. This will entail assisting in walking participants to the restroom, helping participants during group activities, assisting with lunch duty, attending team bonding activities including workshops, learning life skills, and community outreach.
