Summer Storytime for Kids 2024 (Virtual Programming)S'edav Va'aki (formerly Pueblo Grande) Museum presents a FREE online Storytime for Kids event featuring The Remarkable Story of Willie the Crow (Hickory Doc's Tale) by Linda Harkey and illustrated by Mike Minick.
CRAFT (optional): Purchase a story-themed craft for $5 per child. You can pick up the craft anytime between June 1st and August 31st 2024 at S'edav Va'aki Museum located at 4619 E. Washington St. Phoenix, AZ 85034
Book Summary: The Lazy Dog Hacienda pack meets Willie, a crow with bad eyesight who becomes friends with Patch. Although the other dogs don't like Willie very much, Patch can learn a lot about birds by playing with the crow. Featuring fun color illustrations, this children's story shares how a pack of hunting dogs and an extraordinary crow become friends and learn from one another.
About the Author: Linda Harkey loves dogs and loves teaching children. Her experiences as a mother, schoolteachers, volunteer docent and hunting dog owner have inspired her to write the award-winning children's book series, Hickory Doc's Tales
