About This Activity
PREREQUISITE - FOUNDATIONS OF HORSEMANSHIP: Rider is someone who may have only been ponied on a horse, has been on a trail horse or has completed Robinson Ranch’s Foundations class or demonstrated the knowledge to pass Foundations. S/he is learning balance, how to control a horse at a walk in a straight line and through turns; simple change of direction; to stop a horse with ease; groom their horse without assistance; safe horse spacing; and approach and halter a horse in a stall.
