About This Activity
PREREQUISITE - Must have graduated from FOUNDATIONS OF HORSEMANSHIP and Horsemanship Level's 1-3: The Intermediate One rider will learn the following: • How to properly fit & place a saddle (English or Western) • Correct body position during transitions (walk to trot, trot to walk) • Sitting trot and be able to tell how many beats are in each gait • Mount and dismount without assistant • Appropriate spacing • Keep his/her horse on rail during transitions (Walk, trot, NO Canter) • Consistency in utilizing correct position for hands, head & eyes position
