Description
Come join the Encanto Park Sports Complex Flag Football League. This league teaches youth the fundamentals of football, good sportsmanship, and teamwork through practices and games. The goal of the league is to educate its participants in the game of football as well as to learn skills and lessons that help them succeed both on and off the field.
This is an eight-week program with two practices starting the week of April 22nd, before the six-game season that starts on May 11th.
There will be two practices prior to the first game and then one practice and one game a week. The one-hour practice will be held on Tuesdays or Wednesdays between 6:00-7:00pm depending on the coach's availability. Games will be played on Thursdays at 6:00pm. All practices and games will be held at Encanto Park Sports Complex, 2121 N 15th Ave, Phoenix, AZ, 85007, on the ballfield just east of the parking lot.
Players must wear a mouth guard and bring water to each practice and game.

The coach's commitment will be to hold a practice once a week and coach one game per week. Prior to the season there are requirements for background checks, an online training through NAYS and a mandatory meeting. The total amount of hours for a couch during the season is around 24 hours for the ten-week program.
This season's meeting is Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Washington Activity Center 2240 W. Citrus Way, 2240 W Citrus Way, Phoenix, AZ, 85015, just south of Glendale Ave and west of 19th Ave.
