Description
The soccer program is a co-recreational team sports for ages 7 to 8 years. The philosophy of this league is to introduce youth to the basic skills of soccer, good sportsmanship, and to promote equal participation and enjoyment in a noncompetitive environment.
This is a ten-week program with two practices starting the week of January 20, before the eight-game season that starts on February 1.
There will be two practices prior to the first game and then one practice and one game a week. The 45-minute practices will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday at 6:00pm or 7:00pm depending on the coach's availability. Games will be played on Saturdays at 10:15am. All practices and games will be held at Rose Mofford Sports Complex, 9833 N 25th Ave, Phoenix, AZ, 85021, on soccer field #3.
Players must wear shin-guards and bring water to practices and games.

Anyone requesting to be on team with a player or coach must request it in the "Request Prompt" when registering. Any late registrant's requests will not be granted.

The coach's commitment will be to hold a practice once a week and the team plays one game per week. Prior to the season there are requirements for background checks, an online training through NAYS and a mandatory meeting. This season's meeting is Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Washington Activity Center, 2240 W Citrus Way, Phoenix, AZ, 85015, south of Glendale Ave, west of 19th Ave. The total amount of hours for a coach during the season is around 24 hours for the ten-week program.
