Description
Join us and be a part of the fall musical put on by Maryvale Playhouse, our Theatre Program at Maryvale Community Center! *TITLE TBA (To be announced)
Anyone ages 8-15 is welcome to audition, no experience necessary! Once you have enrolled you will receive an email with a form to select either Thursday or Friday, a time slot, and fill out some basic information for your participant.
An audition is required to be considered for the production! By registering for this activity you will be guaranteed an audition slot. If cast in the musical, the $5 fee will go towards program enrollment.
WHAT TO PREPARE:Please prepare BOTH of the following for your audition:
1 minute - 1 minute 30 seconds of a song-This should be memorized-Please practice with a karaoke/instrumental track. These can be found on YouTube. For the audition you are welcome to bring your own speaker or send the link to samantha.adams@phoenix.gov
A 60-90 Second Monologue-CLICK HERE TO FIND A MONOLOGUE-This does NOT have to be memorized but the child should be familiar with the material and make clear acting choices.
