Description
Phoenix Plays PVCC Youth Co-Rec Volleyball League
Join us for a fun and competitive six-week volleyball league designed for young athletes ages 9-13 with intermediate skill level. Participants should display the ability to sustain rallies. This coed league will feature 4 teams, each with ten players, practicing every Monday for five weeks. During practices, players will build fundamental skills, teamwork, and confidence.
In week 6, teams will compete in an exciting end of season tournament, where 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place standings will be awarded. This league is a great opportunity for players to learn, grow, and enjoy the game in a supportive environment.
League Overview
- League Length: 6 Weeks
- One Practice per week (55 minutes) beginning February 2nd
- One Tournament Game Night - Monday, March 16th
- Location: All practices and games will be held at the Paradise Valley Community Center

Coaching Opportunities

Paradise Valley Community Center Details
- Practices begin the week of February 2nd
- Practice Day and Times: Mondays 6pm or 7pm
- Tournament Day: Monday, March 16th (2 Game Guarantee)
- More important dates to come closer to the start of the league.
Player/Team Request:
- League members may request to either play with one other participant or request a specific coach, please refrain from requesting both options. Also please note that this is not guaranteed.
PLEASE WEAR closed toe shoes, athletic apparel, knee pads and bring water.
NO GAMES OR PRACTICES, MONDAY FEBRUARY 16th.
Any request of specific practice times, a specific coach or players requesting to being on the same team must be requested in the "request prompt box" when registering. (REQUEST ARE NOT GUARANTEED)
Important: Participation in this City of Phoenix recreation program requires a valid Parks and Recreation Department Recreation Pass. This pass is required for each individual who participates in the league. There is a nominal $5 (resident) / $10 (non-resident) annual fee to obtain the pass; registration for the pass can be done at any City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation facility.
