This upbeat, skill‑building volleyball class is perfect for young athletes who are new to the sport or ready to grow beyond the basics. Led by experienced staff at the Washington Activity Center on Monday evenings, the program creates a fun and encouraging environment where players can learn, practice, and gain confidence.
Through age‑appropriate drills, partner work, and small‑group games, players develop coordination, teamwork, and a love for volleyball. Coaches break down each skill step‑by‑step, to ensure that every athlete feels supported while being challenged at their own pace.
This class is ideal for kids who want to try volleyball for the first time or sharpen their skills before joining a school or recreational team.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact The Washington Activity Center at 602-261-6971 or email Julian Escobedo at Julian.escobedo@phoenix.gov.
