Participants will learn how to visualize COVID-19 protein structures using computer software. They will also learn about protein surfaces and interactions between proteins and their signaling molecules. They will utilize this background knowledge to begin searching for compounds that are readily available in public databases that may be used in COVID-19 treatment research studies. The use of a laptop or desktop is required to participate in this project. This project is for participants attending high school or the homeschool equivalent. A TABLET OR IPAD WILL NOT WORK.
