Build some memories outdoors with your family this Father’s Day by joining us on this canoeing & kayaking field trip to the Delaware-Raritan Canal! Participants will be responsible for paying to rent either a canoe or kayak at the Griggstown Canoe & Kayak Rental center where we will meet. Alternately, participants may bring their own canoe or kayak, paddles, and life vests to this meetup-style activity.
Cash is preferred by the rental site, as their credit machine is not always available. Rental fees for canoes & kayaks at the Griggstown Canoe and Kayak Rental site range from approximately $37 - $42 for two hours. Please check their website for their current pricing information, including rental forms and waivers by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page under "More Information".
Pre-registration of all participants is requested so we may tell the Griggstown Rental facility how many people to expect, and the approximate number of canoes or kayaks we anticipate needing.
When registering your interest in this activity, please be sure to state if you would prefer to rent either: A) a one-person kayak B) a two-person kayak C) a two-seater canoe D) a three-seater canoe
