This is a tentative activity. Registrations will be accepted if it becomes official.
Ages 10-14 (entering grades 5-8 for the 2025-2026 school year)
The goal of the Summer Fencing Camp is to introduce fencing to the upcoming 5-8 graders of the middle school students. The camp is using the fundamentals of Olympic-style Foil, Epee, and Sabre fencing. Campers will work on fencing forms, footwork, body coordination, offense and defense techniques as well as strategies and endurance.
All participants must fill out the USFA Trial Membership Application form and bring it with them on the first day of camp. The “club” should be listed as Fencing Club of Mercer County.
The Activities that will be performed during the camp period include the following:• Warm-up• Games & Body coordination• Footwork• Blade work drills• Control Bouting (depending on experience)• Fencing rules and regulations

Pre and post-camp are also available through WWP Community Education for an additional fee at Community Middle School. Fencing camp staff members will sign campers in and out with Community Education staff for pre and post-camp. Registration for pre and/or post-camp is done directly with WWP Community Education. Plainsboro and WW-P Residents: $400.00Non-Residents: $420.00
Camp is only open to children entering grades 5-8 for the 2025-2026 school year. Registering ineligible children will result in removal from the program and no refund.
Open to residents of Plainsboro or West Windsor as well as children of Plainsboro based business employees. Proof may be required.
